Desperation for Company and Entertainment

I had some great news about my reassignment to a new project, my manager has agreed almost that i can move to another project in Brazil, i was delighted as you can imagine but once the euphoria had worn off, i was left feeling almost desperate about having to work in this tropical prison for the next 6 months or until the next project comes off. So i had to go and try and cheer myself up with some drinking and telling silly stories in the bar. I arrived to find everyone glued to the TV watching the man utd footy game, i did eventually get to speak to someone who was also in the same frame of mind as me .
