According to Nietzsche,

"That which does not kill me makes me stronger".

Did anyone tell that to Christopher Reeves, perhaps he would have smiled a little more or waved his tongue in recognition. Perhaps Nietzsche wasn't such a smart guy after all. These philosophers are made up to be something special but aristotle was a raging alcoholic.
